Who we are

Esh photography is an award winning, experienced and trusted Canberra based photography studio founded by Emily Hanna & De'leon Coleman over a decade ago.

Principal photographer, Emily Hanna is a fully accredited member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography. She has extensive experience in the modelling industry and kicked off her career as a fashion photographer for Victoria's Models photographing modelling portfolios.

Over the years Esh photography has expanded to include wedding photography, family & children photography, personal & pregnancy portraits and commercial photography.

Through-out Emily's career she has always demonstrated intense dedication and commitment to her work. There has never been a wedding that she has not attended under any circumstances. There is in her eyes, no greater responsibility than being there 100% for her clients on their wedding day.

Becoming a mother of two has refreshed and revitalised Emily's love and dedication for her work.

Photography is her career, her creative outlet, and her passion.

Emily is a warm and enthusiastic woman who is very much in her element working with people. She has a natural way of ensuring clients are both happy and comfortable.

Our aim is to create images that reflect natural beauty, artistic flare and above all capture the moment.

Emily

Founder and director Emily Hanna specialises in portraiture and capturing true beauty. She is an award winning photographer achieving many silver medals at both state and national levels over the years. Emily is also a proud member of the AIPP.

Emily is passionate about documenting sincerity in imagery.

Emily is a mother of two beautiful children and the proud wife to De'leon. She is warm natured, romantic and energetic. You will be in the safe hands with our principal, Emily Hanna the backbone of esh photography.

Hugh

Associate photographer Hugh Miley is a fantastic portrait, landscape & commercial Canberra photographer. Extensively trained as a wedding photographer with founder Emily Hanna for a number of years.

Hugh also specialised in directing and managing weddings. He is a terrifically warm and confident person who excels in photography, both technically and creatively.

Hugh is a highly valued member of the esh team. Emily & De'leon feel very proud and fortunate to have him on board. His samples speak for themselves:

Lisa

Lisa is the office manager and make-up artist and a friendly and vibrant addition to the office.

She is a mother of two beautiful boys and an excellent make-up artist.
