Hi, my name is Emily Hanna.

I am the principal photographer and business owner at esh photography and I have been a professional Canberra photographer since 1999.

I am a proud wife and a mother of three beautiful children and two quirky dogs.

I feel very fortunate to say, “I absolutely love what I do!” capturing precious memories and time.

I have a whole career of 20 + years in professional portrait photography experience.

I am passionate about emotive photography and I am a people specialist.

My Approach & Philosophy.

I am passionate about emotive photography such as wedding photography, family photography, engagement, & couples photography.

Using the skills developed through many years in the fashion photography industry I subtly direct my clients to capture flattering imagery that produces an honest, non contrived reflection.

I believe when it comes to all special moments, if you’re not feeling comfortable while the photos are being taken, you won’t feel connected to the imagery regardless of how aesthetically pleasing or artistic the images may be.

My job is to guide you and make sure you are comfortable and at ease in front of the camera, while encouraging you to have fun with the experience – this is my specialty!

Not everyone feels confident having photos taken but rest assured, with my guidance and a sensitive approach, we will capture the images you hoped for that will stand the test of time.
